Ceating public value - using data for the common good
At the Data Hackdays Uri 2025, which will take place from Friday, April 4 to Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Zeughaus in Altdorf, innovative solutions for public challenges will be developed with the help of data and digital tools to strengthen the common good in the canton of Uri.
Creative people who would like to use digital tools to work for the common good are cordially invited - no special technical knowledge is required. Hackdays also offer experienced and aspiring programmers, designers, data experts, project managers and enthusiasts an excellent opportunity to further develop their technical and communication skills. Using open government data (freely available government data) and numerous open source tools, applications are created that benefit people, the environment, administration and the economy and show how digital transformation works in the public interest.
As with Hackday 2023, the historic Zeughaus combines tradition and innovation - centrally located on the attractive village square of Altdorf. In an open and friendly atmosphere, the venue offers plenty of space to develop freely and be creative. The physical well-being is well catered for - whether omnivores, vegetarians or lovers of gluten-free options.
