Fireworks in Lucerne

Experience a magical start to the new year on 1 January 2025 at 8.15 pm!

Lucerne's evening sky will be lit up by an impressive firework display to mark the start of the new year. The leading hotels in the city of Lucerne, Lucerne Hotels and Lucerne Tourism cordially invite you to experience this colourful spectacle.

Tip: You can enjoy the best view from the pier and along the lakeside promenade.

Festive dinner

The LUZ Seebistro offers the best view of the New Year's magic. Warming dishes such as soup and tarte flambée are served for dinner.

At the Wirtshaus Taube, Lucerne and Swiss dishes are freshly prepared according to old original recipes. Hot meals served daily between 11.30 am and 9.30 pm, also on 1 January 2025.

The popular ice rink on Europaplatz is back. Ice skating, a charming chalet, hot drinks and various pavilions transform the KKL forecourt into a true winter wonderland.

New Year’s Cruise with typical swiss macaroni

Welcome the New Year with a cosy fondue from 5pm in our wooden huts overlooking Lake Lucerne. The evening will be topped off with the New Year's fireworks in Lucerne, just a few minutes away by car.

Treat yourself to our Fondue Chinoise and a glass of champagne in our glazed Living Room with a spectacular view of the fireworks and Pilatus.

Enjoy refined canapés while watching the glittering fireworks. Afterwards, a 3-course menu in MOzern awaits.
