Museum
The "Shaped by fire" exhibition tells the story of glass and the Glasi Hergiswil. Afterwards, visitors can watch the glassmakers at work in the furnace. The museum was recognised as "one of the most beautiful museums in Europe" by the Council of Europe in 1996.
The glass experience
In the "glass labyrinth", visitors are not spectators, they are participants and immerse themselves in a world of glass. A seven metre high "marble run" was made from many glasses from the Glasi collection. The long slide, a large quartz sandpit and various water games on the lake also offer children a great experience.
Glass blowing
With the best view of the glassmaking platform, you can watch the craftsmen at their rhythmic work. You can discover how glass is moulded, blown and poured from the glowing mass using skilled craftsmanship.
