Haus Bethlehem is one of twelve historic buildings in the canton of Schwyz, all of which are among the oldest houses of their kind in Europe. The two-storey house, which is more than 700 years old, is even older than the Rütli Oath. The highly differentiated room structure suggests that it was once a manor house whose inhabitants belonged to the regional ruling class. The museum inside invites visitors on a journey into the past.
