The Chäppeli cross-country ski trail leads you on perfectly groomed tracks through open snowy areas and gentle terrain. After a short time, you will reach a pretty chapel, idyllically nestled in the wintry landscape. Here you can pause for a moment and enjoy the view of the snow-covered hills - a place that radiates peace and contemplation.
The next section takes you directly past the popular Schwendi-Kaltbad mountain restaurant. This cozy inn invites you to take a break, where you can fortify yourself with a warm drink or a local speciality. The view of the surrounding mountains and snow-covered forests from the terrace is a highlight, especially on clear days.
The trail continues through open terrain, offering sweeping views of the surrounding moorland and mountains. The trail remains easy and passable throughout, making it ideal for families and cross-country skiing beginners. Although the route runs mainly through open terrain, wide areas alternate with small groups of trees, making for a varied tour.
