The tour starts in Weggis. Follow cycle route no. 38 as far as Küssnacht. Continue to Risch on Lake Zug, after Buonas you will come to national cycle route no. 9. After Zug, follow cycle route no. 51 to Arth and then no. 77 to Immensee.
The Rigi and Pilatus are always in view on the almost 40-kilometre tour around Lake Zug.
From Immensee, the tour leads back to Küssnacht and Weggis.
