Longish walk in demanding mountain and moorland terrain featuring a wealth of views.

Enjoy a panoramic walk starting at the Glaubenbielen car park with views of the Brienzer Rothorn, later joined by the mountains of the Schrattenfluh. The all-round view on the Nünalpstock is spectacular: you can see the peaks of the Bernese and Central Swiss Alps, before them the Rothorn chain and, to the west, the Pilatus, Stanserhorn and Rigi. Deep down in the valley lies Lake Sarnen.

Directions & Parking facilities

From Schüpfheim via Flühli and through Sörenberg, following the "Panoramastrasse" (panorama road) as far as the Glaubenbielen pass car park. If coming from the other side: via Giswil on the Panoramastrasse to the Glaubenbielen pass.

Car park at the Glaubenbielen pass

Train to Schüpfheim then PostBus 241 to the Glaubenbielen pass. Note that the PostBus makes this trip just three times a day.
