  • Start: Willisau station
  • Destination: Zug station
From the historic little town of Willisau, the route passes Lakes Soppen, Sempach and Zug before reaching Zug itself. The tour offers marvellous views of the Alps and the chance to visit a number of imposing sacred buildings.

Starting at Willisau station, you follow the red signposts (route 99) all the way. Most of the tour is away from main roads and is made up of ascents and descents as it negotiates hills and lakes. From the Reuss valley, the final leg passes pretty Lake Zug before reaching Zug’s old town.
