The Heart Route leads from the glorious monastery village of Einsiedeln to the equally special high moor of Rothenthurm. This rare landscape is home to an ecological utopia of national importance. Shortly thereafter, one finds oneself far above Lake Aegeri, which lies in turquoise blue splendor far below the route. After a visit to Unterägeris and its famous confectioneries comes another passage of great views, including a glide 500m down to the noble little town of Zug.
