Far across the country on the epic stage Zug - Willisau

The landscape becomes somewhat flatter, but no less impressive. You follow the Zugersee and its mighty reed belt to Cham. Then comes pure landscape in Chriesikanton, before the Reuss reveals a small piece of Aargau. Gradually, you regain altitude and views, so that you can ride along further stretches of terraced terrain to the small medieval town of Sempach. Here, enjoy the lake or lunch on one of the beautiful terraces of the old town. After Sempach, the Herzroute climbs the Ruswilerberg and offers magnificent views of the lake and the Alps. Small chapels and little lakes line the way. Upon arriving the cute little town of Willisau reminds you that you're actually thirsty and hungry and your butt hurts a bit.
