The cross-country ski trail from Langis to Lochalp takes you into the untouched winter landscape of the Grossschlieren Valley and offers a unique nature experience in one of the most beautiful regions of Obwalden.

The starting point of the trail is right next to the Langis parking lot, from where the trail climbs gently through the Grossschlieren valley. The trail runs straight for long stretches and takes you through a protected moorland area, which exudes a mystical atmosphere in winter. The snow-covered, open areas offer impressive panoramas as the trail winds its way through the tranquil landscape.

After the moorland area, the trail plunges into a tranquil forest area. Here you can experience the peaceful silence of the forest, interrupted only by the gentle glide of your skis over the snow. The snow-covered trees and the fresh, clear air make this section of the trail particularly attractive. The well-prepared trail offers ideal conditions for relaxed and enjoyable cross-country skiing.

The trail finally ends at the idyllically situated Lochalp, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Whether for a sporty workout or a leisurely tour - this route offers a harmonious combination of exercise, nature and relaxation. It is an insider tip for anyone looking for peace and authentic nature away from the hustle and bustle.
