Mörlialp is located in the heart of Switzerland in the municipality of Giswil, Canton Obwalden. Small but mighty is how you might describe the winter paradise high above the Sarneraa valley and Lake Sarnen. The mini-ski area is clearly laid out and family-friendly, located in the midst of nature and yet easily accessible without an aerial cableway ride.
The short cross-country ski circuit at the foot of the Giswilerstock starts at alt. 1300 metres. Thanks to its altitude, it is usually above the fog line and in the sun. The pleasant circular route starts at the Mörlialp ski school and consists of two loops. Over meadow terrain - alternating between a slight downhill and a slight uphill slope - it goes to Rinderalp and back again.
As the trail is short and consists of few ups and downs, it is highly suitable for beginners. During a break you can enjoy the panorama of the Sarneraa valley.
Use of the Rinderalp circuit is free of charge!
