A round hike through the idyllic nature of the Fallenfluh Forest.

The Fallenfluh round path is located in a wildlife rest zone, which may not be used for recreational activities during certain times of the year, or only to a limited extent. There are legally binding and recommended wildlife rest zones. Legally binding wildlife rest zones are designated by the legislative process (e.g. cantonal hunting law, communal zoning) and violations in these areas are punishable by law.

Directions & Parking facilities

By car on the A4 to the Schwyz exit, then in the direction of Muotathal to the valley station of the Ried-Illgau cable car or by car in the direction of Muotathal until after the valley station of the funicular, follow the signs to Illgau.

Parking is available at the valley station of the cable car Ried-Illgau.

Parking is also available at the church in Illgau.

Parking is available at the start of the route.

Reachable by train and bus

From Schwyz railway station, take bus line 501 to the Ried (Muotathal) stop, Illgau cable car. Then take the cable car Illgau-Ried to the village of Illgau.
