Advent is a special time of year and is just around the corner.

Sometimes the weather can be bad, with many visitors rushing past the goods on offer or even staying away from the glittering lights because of the wet and cold, but not in Engelberg. In the cosy atmosphere of the beautiful Kursaal, curious visitors can stroll through the stalls of the Chlausmarkt from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm without freezing their hands and feet. Whether cards, candles, decorations made of wood, metal, natural materials, baked goods, preserves, sewn or knitted items - the vast majority of what is on offer is made with love by hand. Delicious food and drinks are also on offer, which can be enjoyed in the cosy warmth of the "Chlausbeizli" or outside in the beautiful Kurpark.
Of course, Santa Clauswill also be paying us a visit in the afternoon.
