KlewenAlpFestival | ALPHORN 555

The popular KlewenAlpFestival is once again dedicated to Swiss folk music and tradition. The finest natural yodelling, a spectacular world record attempt with at least 555 alphorn players, a lively evening framed by the atmosphere of the alpine farmers and the traditional Sunday mass performed by the popular priest Leopold Kaiser. The musical programme will once again be put together by Fredy Wallimann. You shouldn't miss this!

Saturday is the highlight of this year's KlewenAlpFestival: in addition to various lively Ländler formations and the Ennetbürgen Music Society, which will provide a great atmosphere on the festival site throughout the day, at least 555 alphorn players will play a melody together in an attempt to break the world record for the largest alphorn ensemble. Entry to the marquee and watching the world record is free.

***Yodelling mass***

10:00-11:00 am (festivities until approx. 3:00 pm)
For years, Father Leopold Kaiser has managed to perfectly combine devotional and entertaining moments with his popular mass. The mass will be enriched by the yodelling trio Geschwister Barbara & Marianne with Klaus Rubin and the finest alphorn sounds. A worthy conclusion to the KlewenAlpFestival. !!! Important information about the event !!!
- For spectators on Saturday we strongly recommend travelling via Emmetten - Stockhütte cable car. Shuttle buses will be waiting at the Stockhütte mountain station to take you to the Ängi chairlift, which will take you up to the festival site.
- There may be considerable waiting times for the Beckenried-Klewenalp cable car this weekend, especially on Saturday.

From 09:30: musical entertainment at various locations with the Jungformation Prättigauer Power and the Ennetbürgen Music Society
14:00-15:30: ALPHORN 555 world record attempt
From 15:30: musical entertainment with the Prättigauer Power youth band in the marquee
From 18:30: "Älplerstimmig" evening with the Ländler trio Urnergmüet and the Ländler quartet Zingelgruess
