The Organ Night at Einsiedeln Abbey brings together four organists from Einsiedeln, Beuron and Maria Laach Abbeys. The program includes works by Bach, Rheinberger, Widor, Vierne, Mahler and others.
The third part of the six-part organ cycle at Einsiedeln Abbey is conceived as a organ night. Four organists from the abbeys of Einsiedeln, Beuron (Germany) and Maria Laach (Germany) will be performing: Father Theo Flury OSB (Einsiedeln/Rome), Father Philipp Meyer OSB (Maria Laach), Father Landelin Fuss OSB (Beuron) and Brother Jonas Hilger OSB (Maria Laach).

The reason for bringing the monks of these three monasteries together is threefold: exactly 40 years ago, the organ building company Klais built a new organ at Beuron Archabbey. Ten years later, the Mauritius organ was consecrated in Einsiedeln Abbey, which will be 30 years old this year. And in January 2024, after an extensive one-year renovation phase, the organ at Maria Laach Abbey was consecrated.

The first part of the organ night begins at 6.45 pm, the second part at 9.00 pm. During the interval from 20:00 to 21:00, there will be numerous catering options in the village and - weather permitting - also in the Abbey Courtyard of Einsiedeln Abbey.
