Organ recital with Mirjam Wagner

Mirjam Wagner will perform the second concert of the six-part organ cycle at Einsiedeln Abbey. She has been a member of the organist team at Einsiedeln Abbey since 2020. After her junior studies at the Basel Music Academy, she studied piano at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. This was followed by master's degrees in church music, organ and education.

During her studies, she played at Carnegie Hall in New York and performed at various music festivals, including the "Festival de la musique" in Colmar, the "Solitude Concerts" at Solitude Palace in Stuttgart, the Efringen-Kirchen Chamber Concerts and the Mendelssohn Days in Aarau. In 2019, she won the "Alois Koch Prize". In addition to her work at Einsiedeln Abbey, Mirjam Wagner teaches at Einsiedeln Music School and Zimmerberg Cantonal School and works as a church musician at in Wädenswil. As a member of the ensembles "Trio Re:" and "Duo Merula", she realises chamber music projects, especially concerts for children and families.
