THE SILENT READING SALON IS COMING TO CENTRAL SWITZERLAND THIS SUMMER

Whether in the gardens of Schwyz or on the heights of the Klausen Pass, the Silent Reading Salon is a collective space of silence in which language and landscape merge.

Initiated by the author and artist Shelby Stuart (BS), furniture is placed in unusual locations. Participants will receive copies of her book "Schwyz.Uri.Unterwalden" (EN/DE), which explores the natural environment in which readers can immerse themselves.

Between August and September, the salon will be travelling through the founding cantons, inviting visitors to a sensory experience that reminds them that reading is also a physical act.
