Summer Sounds Matinee - äxgüsi Jazzband

The tale of the äxgüsi-band started 2002 with a spontaneous rehearsal at the Restaurant Winkelried in Sempach. The reper-toire of the äxgüsi-band contains tracks from all over the world of blues, dixi and oldtime-jazz, as well as evergreens and jazzy earworms. Although founded in Sempach, the band has grown far beyond Central Switzerland. Trips to the USA and to Cuba have shaped the band’s musical style. Songs like „Sweet home Chicago“, „New York, New York“ and others tell the story of these musical journeys.
