Every year, the village fair takes place in Emmetten at the end of September.
After four months of summering in the mountains, the herds of cattle return to the valley in colorful decorations. Several herds of cattle from the Stockhütte/Rinderbühl and Niederbauen are expected.
Delicious, home-made products from the region await visitors at the numerous market stalls at the Dorfmärcht itself. They will also find handicrafts and equally creative and original decorations and gifts.

The Senten Veh from Niederbauen and the Stockhütte present themselves between 11.30 am and 3.30 pm and are accompanied by the sounds of the alphorn.
