The family business looks back on 70 years of history and is now run by the 3rd generation. The restaurant is known for its traditional Swiss cuisine as well as regional and seasonal specialities. The parlour for 50 people, the dining room for 30 people and the Shabby Cafe with 18 seats invite you to linger. The Restaurant Alpenrösli has been awarded the "Family Destination" label by Switzerland Tourism. Younger guests can choose their meal from the children's menu and are provided with colouring materials and books. There is a small play corner in the basement where children can linger.
