The Glattalpsee can be reached on foot from Sahli Muotathal or with the Glattalp railway. A ten-minute walk leads from the mountain station to the lake. The Glattalp is one of the coldest regions in Switzerland.

Anreise
From the Schwyz motorway exit, follow the signs for Stoos/Muotathal. Drive past the Stoosbahn railway into Muotathal.
Then drive through the village of Muotathal and follow the signs for Glattalpbahn to Sahli.
Parken
Car parking is available at Sahli. (Glattalpbahn valley station).
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
By train to Schwyz railway station, then by bus in the direction of Muotathal (bus route 501).
Bus stop: Muotathal Post.
Continue by bus in the direction of Sahli.
Take the Glattalp railway up to Glattalp.
