Exhibition
The Rosengart Collection began life as the private collection of the art dealer Siegfried Rosengart (1894–1985) and his daughter, Angela. In 1992, Angela Rosengart established the Rosengart Foundation to put the works in her private collection on public display. In 2002, the collection opened in the former premises of the Swiss National Bank. The collection, together with the grande dame of art, Angela Rosengart, are known quantities on the international art scene: the Lucerne-born art dealer features in no fewer than five portraits by Pablo Picasso, who was a personal friend.

Art for all

The Museum Rosengart Collection offers a variety of special guided tours, in which children, adults, families, schools and private groups can learn interesting facts about the works of art and the artists behind them.

Special family-friendly activity

Families embark on a journey of discovery through the museum, equipped with a bag containing directions, excerpts from some pictures, puzzles and other items designed to spark the children’s interest in the art on display. Fun for everyone is guaranteed (german only).
