Victorinox factory shop

The history of Victorinox goes back to 1884, when Karl Elsener opened a knife forge in Ibach-Schwyz. His revolutionary idea of producing a compact knife with many practical functions led to success: the Swiss Army Knife was born.

Today, there are over 400 pocket knife models with a wide variety of functions and in a wide range of colours. All of them are manufactured at the company headquarters in Ibach. The popular "Swiss Champ" model, for example, consists of 64 individual parts and is manufactured in a total of 450 steps in the knife factory. The factory shop was reopened in spring 2018 following a renovation and, as the name suggests, is located on the factory premises. Here, virtually next door to the factory, you will find what is probably the most extensive range of pocket and household knives. But that's not all: over 130 watch models, the entire perfume range and a small, fine selection of travel accessories can also be purchased here. Additional services are also offered: Knives can be handed in for sharpening, replacement watch straps and batteries are available for watches and pocket knives can be engraved on the scales and blades.
