- Start: Entlebuch village
- Destination: Sursee
Today’s stage is marked by contrasts: you start in the village of Entlebuch, from where the route leads via Doppleschwand and Romoos towards the Napf region. You follow the Napf Heart Loop and pass Menzberg, Luthern and finally Hergiswil near Willisau. Now the terrain is not only flatter, but also more urban. The ride through the historic town of Willisau is another highlight of Route 1291. Another one will soon follow, as the town of Sursee – which also boasts historic buildings and city walls – is only a few kilometres further on.
Route: ca 70 km | Ascent 1354 hm | Descent 1570 hm
