With this half a kilometre of sledging ensures lots of fun and pleasure. Staffelhöhe is easily accessible with the Rigi cogwheel train from Vitznau.
No previous experience is required for sledging, but respect, quick reactions, good ability to judge and good footwear are important for everyone's safety.

Sturdy winter equipment: winter-adjusted clothing, hiking boots with a good profile, gloves, helmet. In Rigi Kaltbad there is a sports kiosk where you can rent sledges.

Rigi Staffelhöhe, the starting point of this tobogganing route, can be easily reached via Vitznau with the cogwheel train.
